BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com — Sabtu (11/1/2014) malam, Braga Culinary Night akan digelar untuk pertama kalinya di Bandung, Jawa Barat. Jalan yang penuh sejarah dan dielu-elukan ini akan ditutup mulai pukul 17.00-01.00 WIB. Rekayasa arus lalu lintas di sekitar Jalan Braga pun dilakukan.

Hal itu diungkapkan Kepala Bagian Operasional (Kabag Ops) Polrestabes Bandung Ajun Komisaris Besar Polisi Diki Budiman di Balaikota Bandung, Jalan Wastukencana, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Jumat (10/1/2014).

"Jalan Braga panjang kita tutup, kecuali Braga pendek, kita tidak mengganggu Jalan Braga pendek. Kemudian dua jalan kecil, yaitu Jalan Markoni dan Jalan Kejaksaan kita tutup juga," kata Diki.

Diki menjelaskan, untuk rekayasa arus lalu lintas, yaitu meliputi kendaraan yang melaju dari arah Jalan Tamblong belok kanan menuju ke Jalan Naripan sifatnya buka tutup. Kemudian, kendaraan yang melaju dari arah Jalan ABC tidak bisa belok kiri melalui Jalan Braga, tetapi kendaraan hanya bisa lurus ke Jalan Naripan dan belok kanan ke Jalan Braga pendek.

"Kalau dari arah Jalan ABC kendaraan padat, kita akan tutup yang arah timur dan otomatis kita berlakukan satu arah. Kalau misalnya lancar, tetap kita berlakukan dua arah," terang Diki.

Diki menambahkan, penutupan Jalan Braga panjang dan rekayasa beberapa ruas jalan di sekitar Jalan Braga diberlakukan setiap hari Sabtu, mulai pukul 17.00 dan kembali dibuka pukul 01.00 WIB.

"Ini kan instruksi Wali Kota yang meminta mengadakan event ini setiap malam minggu. Ya, ini (penutupan dan rekayasa jalan) kita berlakukan seminggu sekali," kata Diki.
